1. What League Dex is
League Dex is a free tool for organizing Pokémon draft leagues: running a live draft, tracking rosters and trades, scheduling matches, and keeping standings. It does not host or simulate battles. Games are played elsewhere by the players, and League Dex records what they report.
2. Who can use it
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You must give us a working email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not share accounts or impersonate someone else.
3. Leagues, commissioners, and coaches
Anyone can create a league and becomes its commissioner. Commissioners control that league's rules, members, draft, schedule, and results, and can remove members, settle disputed scores, and delete the league. If you join someone else's league, you accept that its commissioner has those powers.
League Dex does not referee leagues. We cannot reverse a commissioner's decision, restore a deleted league, or settle disagreements between players. League rules are set by and between the people in that league.
4. Your content
You own what you post: team names, trainer names, logos, banners, chat messages, and trade notes. By posting it you give League Dex permission to store and display it to the other members of your leagues so the service can work. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
You agree not to post or upload anything that:
- is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or threatening;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or privacy;
- contains malware, spam, or attempts to collect other users' information.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we may do so without warning when the problem is serious.
5. Fair use of the service
Please don't:
- try to break into other accounts or leagues, or bypass league controls such as pick clocks, budgets, or trade approvals;
- scrape, flood, or overload the service with automated requests;
- reverse engineer or copy the service to build a competing product;
- use League Dex for gambling or to run real-money contests.
6. Pokémon and intellectual property
League Dex is a fan-made tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and all related names, characters, and images are trademarks of their respective owners.
Pokémon names, sprites, and game data are shown for the purpose of organizing community leagues. If you are a rights holder and believe content on League Dex should be removed, contact us at support@leaguedex.com and we will respond promptly.
The League Dex name, logo, design, and code are ours. You may not use them without permission.
7. Free service, no guarantees
League Dex is provided free of charge, as-is, and as-available. We work hard to keep it up during your draft, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own record of anything important to you.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, League Dex and the people who build it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, league results, or enjoyment, arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the service, which is nothing.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that are inactive for an extended period.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as League Dex grows. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use League Dex after a change means you accept the new terms.
